English ClassThe Big Bear Club is a community of Japanese, Americans and Military all coming together to provide encouragement and guidance to children living in Okinawa that are unaccustomed to their American heritage.

Our English class is the first, second and third Saturday of each month at the Okinawa Lutheran Church. James-san teaches English for us as a volunteer.
Join the class as much as possible and let's practice English.

Directions to the Okinawa Lutheran ChurchFrom Kadena Air Base- Proceed out gate 2 until you see the pedestrian overpass known as four-corners. Turn right at the intersection; this is highway 330. The second intersection before you get to the Plaza Shopping Center is named "Higa." Turn left at the T intersection across from the big yellow photography building. Okinawa Lutheran Church will be on the right-hand side, about 100 meters from the intersection. You will see the white church with the green roofed steeple and cross.
From Camp Foster- Proceed out the PX gate and turn left; this is highway 330. Continue on this road until you see the Plaza Shopping Center.
